14th December results

NDVGA Christmas 4BBB Stableford Tuesday 9 December 2025

A record 42 veterans signed up for our end of year Golf Day. A total of 18 (9 pairs) of

ladies and 24 (12 pairs) of men. Two grades for both groups A and B. Grades

decided on by combining handicaps and split in half.

Ladies Results :

A Grade winners, Lisa Brady and Lisa Zanker 42.

Runners up were Deanne Free and Jean Youl 41.

B Grade winners, Lorraine Bray and Marg Learmonth 44.

Runners up were Jenice Krahnert and Ruth McAlister 40.

3 rd Place Michelle Dillon and Shirley Jenner 40. Ball Pool: L M Moore and K

Gammon 39, Jordan and N I’Anson 37. NAGA Award J Boyd and M Cameron 31.

Men’s Results:

A Grade winners, Jack Hewitt and Phil Lloyd 42c/b.

Runners up were Ian Gammon and Ray Power 42.

B Grade winners, John Cameron and Kenneth O’Hare 43c/b.

Runners up were Greg Kerr and Doug Wood 43.

3 rd Place J Manser and D Pretty and R Austerberry and F O’Bryan 40. Ball Pool: D

Domaille and G Mathiske 39, R Henshall and Hank Van Der Veen 39.

A great gathering after the game and lots of laughter and storytelling.

Wednesday Ladies Stableford 10 December 2025

A small group played today in mild conditions. The winner was Mandy Ackland with

41 points, followed by Jean Youl and Deanne Free with 32, Rhonda Willoughby 30,

Jill Marshall 29 and Liz Thynne 25. Chino’s 9 th NTP went to Jill Marshall and the Pen

Award to Liz Thynne.

Thursday R & R Stableford 11 December 2025

The weather was fine and so was the golf. 30 members challenged themselves to

win the day. There can be only one winner, and it was Col Wilkie, by the skin of his

teeth, scoring 39 points from John Pay on a c/b. Others in the Ball Pool were jean

Youl and Martin Kelly 38, Wayne O’Neill and Gary Pay 37c/b. Laine Harry fired an

Eagle on the par 5, first hole. NTP’s went to Jack Hewitt 3 rd , G McNeil 5 th , A Free 9 th

and C Waterson 13 th and 16 th .

Saturday 13 December 2025 Greenwood Mugge Stableford

A very good field took part in the Monthly Greenwood Mugge event, with 41 entrants.

The lady’s goblet winner was Mabel Spitty (4) 33 points. The men’s winner, Kevin

Lane (14) 37 points. Ball Pool went to S Harry and J Apostolelis 36, K Sambrooks

and G Gin 34, H Taylor, B Gibson and G Service all 33.NTP’s went to K Sambrooks

3 rd , R Pay 5 th , B Gibson 9 th and 16 th D Wood.
