/NDVGA Stableford Event Barham GC 10 February 2026
Northern District Veteran Golfers Association started its 2026 season with a fabulous turnout
at Barham Golf Club on Tuesday 19 February. A grand total of 51 entries from both Ladies
and Men was a fantastic starter. Clubs’ members came from were Barham, Kerang, Lalbert,
Lakeside, Pyramid Hill, Murrabit, Murray Downs, Tooleybuc. The results are:
Ladies A Grade winner Jean Youl 41 pts. Runner Up Carole Letheby 35 pts.
Ladies B Grade winner Jenice Krahnert 40 pts. Runner Up Janine Bibby 37 pts.
Ball Pool went to Kerry Gammon 36, Lisa Brady 34, Jenny Lynas 34, Ruth McAlister 33,
Barb Clark 33, Sheila Beard 33, Shirley Hall 32.
Men’s A Grade winner Graeme Brierley 37 pts. Runner Up Anthony Ford 36 pts.
Men’s B Grade winner Fred O’Bryan 37 pts. Runner Up Kenneth O’Hare 37 pts.
Ball Pool went to Daryl Domaille 36, Hank Van Der Veen 36, Ian Gammon 36, Terry McEwan
35, Joe Tartaglia 34, Robert James 34, Kevin Lane 33.
NTP’s went to
Barb Clark and Kevin Lane on the 1 st . Lisa Zanker and Graeme Brierley on the 6 th .

A big thank you to the staff at Barham Golf Club for the presentation of their course for our
use.
The next event will be held at the Kerang Golf Club on Tuesday 17 March for an 8/30
assembly and 9.00am hit off.
No Ladies event to report as hot weather prevailed.
Thursday R & R Stableford 12 February 2026
In slightly cooler weather, a total of 31 players took part and the winner (for the second time
in 4 weeks) Spud McKerrow was the winner with 38 points. Ball Pool went to D Knight, A
Free, Max Wilson 35, L Harry, T Hall and N Wright 34. NTP’s went to T Turvey 3 rd , J Hewitt
5 th , R Fabry 9 th , K Sambrooks 13 th and C Wilkie 16 th .
Saturday Greenwood Mugge 14 February 2026
A total of 34 members and guests entered today’s event. The winner of the Mugge is
Lindsay Hogg with 42 points. Ladies’ winner is Roslyn Wright with 35. Ball Pool went to K
Lane 39, T Laughlin 38, D Knight 37, J Hewitt, G Gin and J Pay all 36, K Sambrooks 35. The
Pen Award went to K Sambrooks with 23.
NTP’s went to T Laughlin 3 rd , J Pay 5 th , J Hewitt 9 th , W Hall 13 th and C Waterson 16 th .
