22nd June results

NDVGA Stableford Competition held at Tooleybuc Sporting Club, on Tuesday 17 June.

This month’s event was held last Tuesday. The day promised 4 seasons in one. It didn’t rain

during play, so I guess three out of four wasn’t bad! The results were that Jean Youl won the

Ladies’ section on a count back from Rowena Henry, both had 31 points. Ball Pool went to

Kerry Gammon also on a 3 way count back from Joyce Boyd and Lisa Zanker all on 24

points.

In the Men’s section Fred O’Bryan won with 40 points from Kevin Lane on 33 points. Ball

Pool went to Kevin Chase with 32 points.

NTP’s for the Ladies went to 1 st and 10 th Lisa Zanker, 5 th and 14 th Jean Youl, 7 th and 16 th Kerry

Gammon, 9 th and 18 th Lisa Zanker. For the Men 1 st and 10 th Graeme Brierley, 5thand 14 th

Kevin Chase, 7 th and 16 th Col Wilkie and 9 th and 18 th John Manser.

The winners of the pen awards were Lorraine Bray and John Manser, with 22 points. Next

month’s event will be played at Lakeside Golf Club, on 15 th July at 9.00 am assembly and

9.30 am hit-off.

Wednesday Ladies Stableford 18 June 2025

A small group of ladies played in the cold on Wednesday morning. One of our youngest

members, Mabel Spitty, won the day’s event with 36 points. Ball Pool went to Jan Milne 33,

R Willoughby and L Bray 32 c/b. Chino’s NTP was won by Lorraine Bray.

Thursday R & R Stableford 19 June 2025

19 members played Stableford today and the winner was Chris Waterson (2) with 36 points.

Ball Pool went to John Murphy and Scott Harry 35 points and Ron Delamare 33 points.

NTP’s went to R Fabry the 3 rd , Lindsay Hogg the 9 th and Chris Waterson the 13 th .

Saturday Stableford 21 June 2025

A very good-sized field (37) for today’s event. Lady winner was Shirley Jenner with 36 points

and for the Men it was Col Wilkie with 38 points. Others in the Ball Pool were P Hatton35, B

Shields, C Manners and C Waterson 34 points, J Murphy, J Waterson and Olive Spitty with

33 points. NTP’s went to C Manners 3 rd , C Waterson 5 th , O Spitty 9 th and 13 th . Pen Award

went to Deaniee Henderson on24 points.
