Stableford Kerang Golf Club 21 April 2026
A total of 33 Members and visitors played today. The weather was perfect for golf. Among
the visitors were Brian Smith and Lindsay Kramer, both Executive members of the Central
Victorian District Veterans. Brian is also our District Counselor. It’s always great to have
Council members visit to get a better understanding of how your District is performing. Now
to the day’s results: -
Ladies’ Winner Roslyn Dunn Cohuna Golf Club, 36 points. Runner up Liz Thynne 33 points.
Men’s A Grade Winner Phil Lloyd 36 points. Runner up Doug Meehan 35 points.
B Grade Winner Ray Henshall 35 points. Runner up Frank Cianci 33 points.
Ball Pool J Hewitt 35, J Manser Nyah West GC 34, B Spicer Barham GC 33, L Mudgway 33,
J Tartaglia 33.
Pen Awards Ladies Barbara Clark Murray Downs GC

Wednesday ladies Stableford 22 April 2026
A small number of Ladies entered today’s competition. The winner was Rosie Laughlin with
36 points, Liz Thynne 36 points, Nola Robinson 33 and Shirley Jenner 32 points. NTP on
Chino’s 9 th hole went to Nola Robinson.
Thursday R & R Stableford 23 April 2026
30 members and guests played Stableford today with the winner being Allan Free on 40
points, Blake Shay, Kevin Sambrooks 38, Casey Gillen 37 and Rob Fabry 35.
NTP’s went to J Tartaglia 3 rd , S Dibsdale 5 th , A Free 9 th , G Pay 13 th and D Meehan 16 th .
ANZAC DAY April 25 RSL DAY
In what turned out to be a wonderful day for the RSL members and golfers, with 41 golfers
and I think over 50 Bowlers attending. The winners were for the Ladies Angela Giouzellis
with 39 points and for the Men Blake Shay with 39 points also. Runners up were Jill Marshall
36 and Casey Gillen 38. Ball Pool went to L Hadfield, J Gray 37, D Wood, R Delamare 36, D
Meehan, P Hall 35, P Lloyd, R Pay 34, B Shields 33. Pen Award C Heffer.
NTP’s went to C Gillen 3 rd /5 th , R Delamare 9 th , 13 th B Shay and 16 th L Hadfield.
