27th April results — Kerang Golf and Bowls

Wednesday Ladies 23 April 2025

8 Kerang ladies ventured over to Barham on a return visit from earlier in the year.

The results were, M Cameron 36, C Downes 35, S Jenner 30, R Henery 28, M Dillon, J Boyd

27, Nola Robinson 26 and E Thynne 24.

Thursday R & R Stableford 24 April 2025

On a bright sunny, windy day, 24 members and guests played Stableford. The winner was

Chris Waterson (4) scoring 41 points on a count back from J Hewitt (9) and T Turvey (14).

Chris shot a round of 70, one under par for the day. Ball Pool went to J Hewitt, T Turvey 41,

G Pay, R Delamare 38, J Ackland 35. NTP’s went to 9 th J Youl, 13 th W O’Neill and 16 th J

Hewitt. Happy Birthday was sung to Wayne O’Neill for his 70th birthday.

Anzac Day Stableford 25 April 2025

On a day that threatened with rain and finished with a very good soaking. 22 members and

guests managed to play 18 holes of Stableford in aid of the RSL. The lady’s winner was

Karyl Hewitt with 40 pts and Runner up was Tony Kilderry on 39 pts. For the men Blake

Shay was the winner with 40 pts and Brendan Shields was the Runner up with 38 pts. Peter

Jones was the last in the Ball pool with 36 pts. NTP’s went to D Wood 3 rd , P Jones 9 th , J

Harry 13 th and J Hewitt 16 th .

Saturday Stableford 26 April 2025

After the good soaking yesterday, only 10 members fronted up to play. The Ladies winner

was Olive Spitty (-1) 39 pts. This was a new Women’s Course record of 67. Congratulations

Olive.

The Men’s winner was C Waterson (3) 37 pts.

Ball Pool, L Hadfield (9) 34 pts, J Hewitt (9) 33 pts.

NTP’s went to L Hadfield 3 rd , A Spitty 5 th , O Spitty 9 th /16 th and S Harry 13 th .
