5th October results — Kerang Golf and Bowls

Wednesday Ladies 1 October 2025

The first round of the Ladies Club Championship for 2025 has commenced with 16 Ladies

playing on Wednesday and others playing their round on Saturday. The day’s competition

was won by Rhonda Willoughby 96-28=68, Rosie Laughlin 103-34=69, Angela Giouzellis

102-32=70, Jan Harry (11) with 85-11=74. NTP’s went to Jan Harry 9 th Chino’s Voucher and

13 th to Rosie Laughlin.

Thursday R & R Stableford 2 October 2025

25 members and guests played in some very strong winds and it was Allan Free (Poddy)

who was able to master the conditions with a fine score of 36 points. Ball Pool went to Phil

Lloyd 35, Tony Hall, Blake Shay and Rob Fabry all on 33 points. NTP’s went to T Turvey 3 rd ,

G Service 5 th , C Wilkie 9 th , P Lloyd 13 th and J Hewitt 16 th .

Saturday Monthly Medal 4 October 2025

Kevin Chase is this month’s medal winner; The Ladies goblet winner is Jenny Waterson

scoring net 67. Scoring a net 68. Ball Pool went to L Hogg 68, P Lloyd and C Wilkie 69, B

Shay 70, M Kelly, W Hall, J Murphy, S Worner 71, J Harry 72. Deaniee Henderson had an

Eagle on the 2 nd hole. NTP’s went to L Hadfield 3 rd , B Shay 5 th , Laine Harry 9 th , S Phillips 13 th

and J Apostolelis 16 th .

39 entries for this prestigious event. The winning Pair are from Lakeside Golf Club, Lake

Boga. Greg Martin and Fred O’Bryan scored 49 points to beat hometown father and son,

David Wood and Anthony Wood (Neanger Park Golf Club Bendigo) scoring 45 points. NTP’s

went to R Fabry 3 rd , D Knight 5 th , G Service 9 th and 16 th and the 13 th went to J Murphy. A

really great event well supported by visitors as well as the locals. Thanks to our Sponsors
