Ladies Golf – Wednesday Oct 9

It was a beautiful day for 12 ladies to play for the Chino’s Stableford round this week. The course was magnificent and there were no excuses for poor scores… apart from trees, water, channels, concentration and skill.

Ruth McAlister was victorious with 35 pts and was excited to get down to Chino’s to celebrate her victory. Thanks, Raelene, for your sponsorship! Runner up was our captain Michelle Dillon with 33pts on a countback from Lorraine Bray.

Carol Dear won the Chino’s coffee voucher on the 9th and Marg Learmonth collected June’s ntp on the 3rd with a sizzling stroke.

The hottest competition for the day was the coveted pen award. There were 5 out of luck golfers in hot contention but it was lucky Ronda Boulton who snagged it after a 3 way countback.

Next week we have everybody’s favorite game – par! Be there at 9.30 for 10am hit off.
